So, the Fast septic tank is an energy-dependent biofilter. Inside the container there is a honeycomb filler, in the center there is an airlift. Colonies of microorganisms live on the surface of the honeycomb filler; air is supplied to the installation using a compressor. Thus, the installation carries out aerobic biological treatment.

The Fast module is installed inside the septic tank. The sump can be made of plastic or reinforced concrete. You can install the module in an already used monolithic reinforced concrete septic tank or in a septic tank made of concrete rings.

Cleaning process

Thus, wastewater goes through several stages of purification. First they enter the septic chamber, where they undergo a settling process. Then, the wastewater, freed from most of the undissolved impurities, enters the Fast module using a pump, where it undergoes biological treatment under conditions of additional oxygen supply.

The presence of a honeycomb filler provides a large biological filter area, so the liquid undergoes complete purification. The wastewater treatment process follows the same scenario as the treatment process of most deep biological treatment stations.

Initially, “gray” sewage water enters the receiving chamber, where it is immediately exposed to active biological substances - aerobic bacteria, which, unlike traditional septic tanks, are located on the surface of the active medium.

Using a fan and compressor, air is supplied to the chamber, which enriches wastewater and active biomass.

When exposed to oxygen, biomass begins active life by “eating” and processing sewer liquid along with soft organic particles, inclusions such as feces or food debris.

The work includes not only a compressor and a fan, but also an airlift and a pump, which are involved in pumping and moving wastewater.

The wastewater is also processed in a special cellular structure called a module, where, under constant mixing of air, active bacteria and wastewater, the wastewater is converted into sludge and water.

In the next chamber, water with impurities of silt formations settles, becoming naturally clarified due to sediment settling to the bottom.

It should also be said that in the second module or chamber, half (or more) purified wastewater is also transformed under the influence of anaerobic microorganisms, which continue to work on decomposing particles in the sewer liquid to the ground.

These bacteria exist and live without oxygen, and therefore there is no aeration tank in the second module.

If chlorine-containing substances or any pipe cleaner such as Tiret, which itself is an aggressive chemical, enters through the sewer pipeline, the colonies of bacteria formed in the cellular structures may die.

However, those microorganisms that were deposited on the surface of the drains, walls and other surfaces of the internal devices of the septic tank die.

And those bacteria that are still inside the cells remain alive, continuing their reproduction. It is this aspect that is key in the process of self-healing of the system.

Important! The most important condition for the operating principle of Fast septic tanks is, first of all, not the accumulation of sludge formations, but their purification and removal from the septic tank.

And almost all Fast designs provide this opportunity to service autonomous sewers.

The cost of Fast septic tanks is quite high. One has only to take a closer look at the prices of various trading companies that distribute this septic tank and it will become clear that even the cheapest version of the treatment system costs on average about 120,000 rubles .

And this is an order of magnitude higher than, for example, the popular analogues of Topas septic tanks, the minimum cost of which does not exceed 70,000 rubles .

Installation and maintenance

As mentioned above, proper installation is a guarantee of long-term operation of the septic tank. Therefore, first of all, the collection container is correctly installed, where the module itself will subsequently be mounted. To do this, you will have to dig a pit, fill its bottom with sand, and install a container. It should stand firmly and evenly.
