Hello Neighbor is an addictive and quite challenging stealth game currently available in various alpha versions.
Many gamers do not understand how to get to the ending and thereby complete the game. The main goal of Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 is to figure out how to gain access to a locked, boarded-up door, which in the current build is located in your neighbor's living room.

Types of spanners

Common kits mainly feature double-sided tools with a straight or curved handle. The most popular is a set of ring wrenches, consisting of combined products, one side of which is equipped with a ring head, and the other has an open-end profile. Manufacturers are filling the market with more and more new variations, trying to create models that are more universal and convenient in plumbing.

Installing a ratchet mechanism, a swivel head or an adjustable jaw increases the functionality of the device and makes it convenient to use even in the most cramped conditions. Note that universal models with an adjustable head have slightly increased dimensions and a predominantly straight handle, so they do not save in all situations. For a home workshop, it is advisable not to skimp on a set of combination wrenches of the main standard sizes.

The main criteria for choosing a good tool:

1. The size of the keys - in standard models the jaw is not adjustable, so when repairing and installing complex devices it is often necessary to use a whole set of devices.
2. When using universal adjustable or pipe wrenches, you need to take into account the working range of jaw opening.
3. Material – the most practical are products made from chrome vanadium alloys that can withstand harsh loads.
4. For use in difficult conditions, it is better to purchase a tool coated with a moisture-resistant anti-corrosion compound.
5. Handle - Previously, keys consisting entirely of metal were mainly produced. New models often come with a two-component anti-slip coating.
6. If there is a risk of contact with live objects, products with dielectric handles should be used.
7. The shape of the key is selected taking into account the operating conditions. For example, with a flat, straight handle, you cannot unscrew a nut that is located in a recess. For this job, it is recommended to use wrenches with an L-shaped or other curved profile.

Open spanner

There are transition models that have the advantages of U-shaped and ring-shaped devices. A split wrench is an improved type of open-end tool with increased coverage. It is used mainly on plumbing equipment, where a simple spanner makes it difficult to fit a pipe, and it is undesirable to use an open-end wrench due to the high risk of rounding the edges of soft metal fasteners. In some models, the female head can be tightened with a bolt, closing the ring in the working position, so they are not inferior in reliability to ring wrenches.

Impact wrench

Often the fastener sticks to the metal so strongly that simple hand effort is not enough to unscrew the head. For tight connections, an impact tool made of strong material is used that can withstand significant forces without deformation. At one end there is a standard ring jaw, and on the other side of the handle there is a thick platform for striking with a sledgehammer.

A single-sided impact wrench designed for use in areas with an increased risk of fire or explosion is coated with a bronze or copper compound to prevent sparking. For reliable tightening during installation, it is allowed to use such devices together with a pipe with a diameter of 30-50 mm. The internal diameter of the extension is selected depending on the thickness of the striking pad.

Socket wrench

An interesting new feature is a device with an adjustable hexagonal profile. The single-sided spanner of this model has an adjustment range of 7-19 mm, which brings its functionality closer to adjustable open-end wrenches. The size of the slot is set using a screw. When it rotates, a pin extends from inside the handle, which presses the fastener to the far side of the hexagonal jaw. There are three touch points, so in terms of reliability it is somewhat inferior to a standard type tool, but in a simple situation it can replace a set of socket heads.

Socket pipe wrench

These devices are used mainly in repair and plumbing work. The self-adjusting design allows installation without the need to remove the pipe wrench from the fasteners after each turn of the handle. One tool can work with pipes of different diameters. Depending on the size of the working throat, the following standard sizes exist:

• cruciform.

Allen key

The most common are tools with 12-sided and 6-sided head profiles. The advantages of each type are significant, for example, a 12-sided curved spanner wrench allows you to work when turning even 30º, so it is more convenient to use in limited space. A device with a 6-sided jaw has to be rearranged more often during operation, but it provides a large contact area, significantly reducing the risk of damage to the nut being unscrewed even with significant torque forces.

Ratchet spanner

The main advantage of ratcheting mechanisms is that they allow you to unscrew or tighten the fasteners without tearing the tool off the head. A ring ratchet with a flag or disk switch can rotate in both directions. The number of teeth on the ratchet gear is 24-72. Gears with more teeth provide the smoothest running. The disadvantages of this product are the following:

1. Higher price.
2. Devices with a ratchet have more weight and length.
3. Size restrictions, for example, keys with a small mouth are not equipped with ratcheting mechanisms.
4. Cheap ratchets often break when applying significant force.

Angle spanner

Mostly devices of this type are made in the form of an L-shaped crank with working heads of different sizes rigidly attached to the ends of the handle. The presence of an elbow allows this socket wrench to be used for unscrewing fasteners installed even in hard-to-reach places. Thanks to the bent profile of the product, the annular jaw is located at some distance from the handle. When working with such a tool, your fingers will not touch the surface near the head of the bolt or nut.

Universal spanner

The improved combined model has a rotating cross-shaped head on both sides for 4 working sockets of different sizes. Thanks to its successful design, this product replaces 8 single-sided tools. This functional adjustable spanner has the following advantages:

1. Can work at angles up to 45º.
2. The 360º rotation of the head allows you to select a slot extremely quickly.
3. More reliable fixation of the nut in the working jaw compared to adjustable wrenches.

What items are needed to win Hello Neighbor Alpha 2

The first thing you should notice is the two different "defense mechanisms" your picky neighbor uses to restrict access to the basement in Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 . We are talking about wooden planks and a door lock that requires a key. To unlock the door to the basement, you will have to find a total of five items, two of which are the tools needed to destroy the boards. The first and most difficult item to find is the key, behind which we will find a crowbar, a master key, a wrench and, finally, a key card.

The game will let you decide exactly how you want to start. In Story Mode, you can access your neighbor's house through the front door, but only after watching cutscenes. At the start of the game, your neighbor's front door will be locked from the inside. Ring the doorbell and then run away. This will cause the neighbor to wake up, remove the boards and look outside. After this, you can safely start searching for objects.

Tool requirements

The segment of devices for loosening nuts and bolts continues to improve. New special keys appear and old ones are modified: handles become more comfortable, body configurations become more diverse, experiments with heads continue. The number of manufacturers is growing, and choosing a good tool is becoming increasingly difficult. To do this, you need to know what to require from locksmith devices:

• Maximum service life.
• Convenience and safety at work.
• The maximum force applied to the object being turned away.
• Easy penetration to the plane of a bolt or nut during operation.

The material for the production of metalwork tools is the main factor in achieving maximum operating time. Chrome vanadium alloys can ensure that this condition is met. When purchasing an instrument, you just need to look at the mark. You can also run a file over the body: if there are no scratches, then the quality of the raw material is good.

To ensure that the edges of the working planes do not get lost, you need to monitor their size. When purchasing a specimen for 17, measuring the throat with a micrometer should show minimal deviations. A broken head will roll back the bolts and nuts, break off, and may injure your hand.

Maximum torque is obtained with the optimal body length of the device and the rigidity of the raw materials from which it is made.

Where to look for the key

This may be the hardest item you'll find in Hello Neighbor Alpha 2 , as it hangs on your neighbor's belt. To get the key, you need to wait until your neighbor falls asleep. This can be achieved in one of two ways. You can wait for your neighbor to fall asleep on his own (which he will do often until he catches you) or you can drug him with sleeping pills. The appearance of a wrench

The earliest mentions of such an instrument have European roots, where they appeared in the fifteenth century, and by the middle of the nineteenth they were already in widespread use. A large number of them, along with weapons, were produced.

Over the years, the design has changed, and specialized devices have appeared. In Great Britain, the engineer Budding invented the adjustable key, and in France, Le Roy Tribo, the sliding, or French, key. In Sweden in 1892, an improved adjustable tool with a worm mechanism appeared to change the distance from one jaw to another. This is roughly what he looks like now.

Where to find a crowbar and a master key

With the key in hand, you can begin collecting the tools needed to break into the door. The first thing you will find is a master key and a crowbar. If you go to the neighbor's back, you will see a broken window in the bedroom. Make your way through it into this room, move through the bedroom door and head to the back. On the left side you will find a large cardboard box labeled Lost & Found. In this box you can pick up items that you lost or threw away when your neighbor caught you. On the right side of the hero there is a door with a padlock. Use the key you found earlier to unlock it. Inside there will be a master key lying on the shelf and a crowbar hanging on the wall.

How to open the door

This is the difficult part of the game. Since you already have a key card and this item can be quickly used on the door, just wait until the neighbor leaves the living room, and then immediately swipe the key card on the door. As soon as you do this, go back to the main character’s house to pick up the crowbar you found earlier. Now all you need to do is use a crowbar to break out the nailed boards.
