Wastewater coming from points of consumption (sink, toilet, dishwasher, washing machine) is sent to the first septic tank, where the liquid settles, forming 3 layers: solid sediment, oily particles and clean water. When the volume of liquid reaches the required level, the water flows through the pipe into the second chamber. The tube is positioned so that sediment and fatty film are retained in the first chamber.
In the second tank, the contents are repeatedly settled, forming sludge (some models do not have a biochamber). Redirected to the third section, the liquid is exposed to anaerobic bacteria. Microorganisms decompose the organic matter remaining in wastewater, releasing gases to the surface. Recycled water flows through a pumice filter, fed into an infiltrator (irrigation field dome), drainage wells, and filtration fields, increasing the purification level to 95%.
