Moment Super-epoxy transparent
Reliably fastens any materials and their combinations. Does not shrink or expand once cured and can be painted, polished, sanded, drilled or milled. Oil- and water-resistant, resistant to solvents. The adhesive joint holds equally well when used both indoors and outdoors.
Gelatinization occurs 5 minutes after mixing component A with component B, so you need to act quickly, and for this you need to prepare the work front in advance. The initial hardening occurs within an hour, after which light use of the glued parts is possible. Complete polymerization, with formed polymer bonds, occurs a day after joining the parts with an adhesive seam.
It goes on sale in the form of a blister pack, the volume of components is 2 and 6 ml.
Advantages and disadvantages
Epoxy has a number of positive characteristics, thanks to which it continues to lead among analogues. Here are the advantages of glue:
- elastic seam - the presence of slight mobility of the adhesive joint will prevent the appearance of cracks and prevent destruction;
- the ability to withstand temperature fluctuations - the product is heat-resistant, the finished product can be used at temperatures up to +250 degrees (some adhesives are even higher temperature);

- short drying time - after application, the parts quickly become a single whole, and after final polymerization it is almost impossible to peel them off.
Despite the high quality and ultra-strong composition of the product, it has a number of disadvantages. Here they are:
Super epoxy metal
Moment Super-epoxy metal is designed specifically for bonding metals and their alloys. After final polymerization, it is not subject to compression or expansion. Oil- and water-resistant, does not react to accidental ingress of solvents into the environment.
It can reliably bond glass, porcelain, wood and other materials or combinations thereof, but its formula is mainly adapted to metals.

Super-epoxy Formula 1
Original packaging in a monotube, divided inside into sealed cavities containing the resin compound and hardener. Mixing of the components occurs at the moment the glue is supplied through two tubes isolated from each other at the very exit to the outside. Kinds
Two-component adhesive of the Moment brand is currently available in several varieties. So, you can often see a sample of “Super Epoxy Transparent” in construction stores. Currently, many consumers use Epoxylin Mini adhesive for construction work. This product is available in compact packaging (6 ml). It is often used for the restoration of various products. This composition is a special putty in portion packaging and hardens within just 10 minutes after application to the material.
Many people prefer Epoxylin 2 in 1 glue. It has the form of putty in a cylindrical package, each of them contains 48 g of the composition. In each sample, under the first outer component there is another component that is needed for hardening. Both of these substances should be thoroughly kneaded with your hands and mixed, then they will react. This composition is often used to seal defects.
The “Epoxylin Metal” model is designed for durable, reliable gluing of various metals and alloys. It is also presented as putty in a cylindrical package. Often this glue is used to fill in missing elements. After all, it can be given almost any shape.
Epoxylin Duo glue is a special gray plasticine. It is used both for gluing different materials and for completing the necessary parts (table corners). This substance dries within 5 minutes after its application, and after 15 minutes it acquires excellent strength. As a rule, it is sold in a package of 2 x 25.2 x 50 mm.

Moment-Epoxylin 2 in 1
Super strong connection of any materials, from metals to paper. It is a cylinder of putty in which, under the outer layer of a compound with filler, which can be of any color, there is a second isolated layer of hardener. When cutting off part of the cylinder and kneading the plasticine-like putty with wet hands, a thermochemical reaction of initial polymerization begins.
You will have about 5 minutes to apply the composition to the surfaces to be bonded, and after 10 minutes from the start of the reaction, the composition will initially harden, and it will no longer be possible to work with it further. Therefore, you need to be careful when separating the required portion and have time to do everything within 5 minutes.
After 70 minutes, the strength of the adhesive seam becomes sufficient for not very intensive use, or at least to remove a vice or clamp, and after 8 hours the glue reaches 50% of the declared strength.

Epoxy glue is otherwise called “cold welding,” and many people associate the word “welding” with joining metal parts. In fact, epoxy glue can be used for home repairs on items made from a variety of materials.
Relatively recently, at home I had to do minor repairs to products made of plastic, glass and wood, and two-component epoxy glue helped here.

Epoxylin Moment
is a plastic two-component epoxy composition. One component is epoxy resin, filler and builders, and the other component is amine type hardener, filler and builders.
Depending on the brand (Epoxilin, Epoxilin mini, Epoxilin DUO), the components of the composition can be enclosed in each other or must be mixed.
For example, two-component epoxy adhesive Epoxylin is a so-called “sausage” consisting of two parts, where the outer component is epoxy resin, in which the inner component is a hardener.
Also, the epoxy composition Epoxylin mini is the same two-component compound as Epoxilin, but the composition is divided into 6 parts (pieces) of 5 grams, each of which is enclosed in a separate cell (like tablets in a blister).
In comparison, Epoxylin DUO looks like two blocks of plasticine, from which a certain amount should be cut and mixed with each other.

Epoxy glue instructions
According to the instructions, you need to work with latex or vinyl gloves, and the surfaces to be glued must be dry, clean and grease-free. This is a standard treatment of products for any gluing. By the way, the question “is it possible to knead epoxylin without gloves?” is not a rare question. It is possible to work with epoxyline without gloves, but there may be an allergic reaction, so for safety you should wear gloves (you can buy latex medical ones).
And if an allergic reaction occurs, hands should be washed with soap and water. If irritation does not go away, it is better to consult a doctor.
1. Before use, epoxylin should be kept at room temperature. 2. Remove the required amount of epoxyline from the packaging by removing the protective film and begin to knead it with your hands like plasticine. At this time, the compositions are mixed. The epoxy compound must be kneaded until a homogeneous white mass is formed. 3. The epoxy composition begins to harden 10 minutes after it begins to knead. During the hardening process, the glue heats up, so it must be applied before heating begins. 4. The composition is applied to one surface and combined with another. You need to fix the stationary position for 15 minutes, after which the product can be subjected to mechanical processing - sanding, polishing, drilling, grinding and painting. 5. The glued product can be used after 24 hours.

Designed mainly for gluing and repairing metal products: iron, steel, including stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminum and its alloys, tin or lead. But it also glues porcelain, natural stone, wood, glass and their combinations just as well. Release form: 5 cylinders of 48 grams each in a cardboard package.
Moment-Epoxylin DUO
Universal adhesive for working with a wide variety of materials in the form of a plasticine-like two-component putty, for express gluing of parts made of wood, porcelain, earthenware, natural stone, glass and plexiglass, metals and their alloys, as well as for combinations of these materials.
Available in the form of cylinders with a neutral gray color, weighing 25 g, 2 pieces in a cardboard package.
When working with Momentm epoxy-based adhesives, follow all recommendations developed for these materials. In particular, try to remove drops of glue that protrude after compressing and fixing the parts to be glued with a swab moistened with acetone or ethanol. If you didn’t notice any drops of glue in time, clean them off with a scraper.
Regarding safety precautions, also follow the general rules for working with epoxy: room ventilation, eye and respiratory protection, rubber or silicone gloves on your hands.
Areas of use
Strong adhesion is guaranteed when combining ceramic, wood, porcelain and natural stone surfaces. It is also suitable for glass, leather, metal structures. They restore marble structures. At the same time, the details themselves may not be of the same type, for example, a leather decorative object and a mirror. After drying, the seam does not shrink or stretch, so it is not recommended for use on rubber objects. The adhesive composition is resistant to atmospheric factors and does not allow moisture to pass through.
Henkel brand adhesive is indispensable when working with plastic surfaces. It is not relevant when working with polyethylene and polypropylene parts. Contraindicated when working with Teflon or utensils in which food is prepared/served.
